A new phase of the longstanding partnership between Amgueddfa Cymru Museums Wales and OPAM (Oita Prefecture Art Museum) will develop an artist residency focussing on Indigenous weaving techniques and patterns. Welsh textile artist, Llio James, will travel to Oita to collaborate with bamboo artisans, facilitate workshops and exhibit at OPAM. It is anticipated that a reciprocal residency will be developed, seeing a bamboo artisan visiting Wales.

アムゲズヴァ・カムリ（ウェールズ国立美術館）と大分県立美術館による長年のパートナーシップの新たな段階として、先住民族の織物技法と模様に焦点を当てたアーティスト・イン・レジデンスが実施されます。ウェールズのテキスタイル・アーティスト、リオ・ジェームズが大分を訪問し、竹工芸家との共同制作、またワークショップを行い、大分県立美術館で作品を展示します。大分の竹工芸家がウェールズを訪問するという相互的なレジデンシーの展開が期待されています。
