We want to foster an environment in which our artists, arts organisations and creative enthusiasts can create their best work. By doing this, everyone in Wales should be able to enjoy and take part in the best creative activity that our nation has to offer.
How we reach wider audiences
To make the arts central to the life and well-being of the nation, we want the arts to touch everyone and creativity to be as central as reading, writing and arithmetic in Wales's schools. To do this we work with those schools, help community groups put on first-class entertainment and foster partnerships to make sure the arts are available to everyone.
How we encourage sustainability
We help organisations to create businesses that are resilient and durable.By equipping them with the the skills to manage inevitable changes, we encourage them to work out how they can support their creative output in the long term.
