Contract: 12 months, 15K per annum (resulting at approximately 5/6 days a month)

Job Summary
Are you an expert digital creator who has a passion for all types of performance and creativity? We are seeking an imaginative and vibrant TikTok Creator in Residence to join our team at Wales Millennium Centre and help tell our story, engage with new audiences and grow our TikTok community.
As our TikTok-er in residence, you’ll drive our brand’s presence by developing and executing content strategies that resonate with our target audience, creating insightful content that tells our brand story and increases engagement. You will be at the forefront of our social media efforts on TikTok, bringing fresh ideas and trends to life. You will be comfortable being the face of Wales Millennium Centre on TikTok and as a bilingual organisation, the ability to speak Welsh is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop, film, and edit engaging TikTok videos (1–2 per week) that align with our brand identity, storytelling priorities and marketing campaigns.
- Produce a variety of content types, including but not limited to challenges, trends, tutorials, behind-the-scenes and storytelling.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, bilingual, consistent in style and quality and optimised for performance.
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement TikTok content strategies and plans.
- Stay updated on TikTok trends, algorithm changes and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
- Use analytics to measure the success of content and make data-driven decisions. Feed into quarterly organisational reports to demonstrate impact.
Engagement:
- Engage with the TikTok community by responding to comments, participating in trends, and collaborating with other creators.
- Foster a sense of community through interactive and authentic content.
Key Targets
- 1–2 Tik Tok posts a week.
- Create content that covers the full range of our programme from commercial shows, our cabaret programme, immersive experiences and our own productions through to our work with young people and artists.
- Work with in-house team to set increase in reach, engagement and followers.
The ideal candidate will have...
- Proven experience as a TikTok creator with a portfolio of successful content.
- Strong understanding of TikTok’s platform, trends and audience.
- Excellent video editing skills, familiarity with editing tools and software and basic graphic design skills.
- The ability to think creatively and generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ideally able to speak Welsh.
- Passion for culture and the arts in Wales.
