Sharing Together funds the creation or strengthening of networks to encourage the development of networking opportunities across the cultural sector.

The fund is open to different sorts of ideas, but the Arts Council particularly welcomes networks which focus on and actively engage:

  • People from a range of backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people.
  • Ethnically and Culturally Diverse communities.
  • Those who may not have the same opportunities to engage with the arts due to a number of barriers, including – but not limited to – cost or where they live.

Sharing Together has funds available for small scale one-off projects in 2023-24. We can  provide up to £3,000 per project.

Here are some examples of recent initiatives funded by Sharing Together:

Shari Llewelyn“Rhwydwaith Dyslecsia yng Nghymru”

Grand Ambition – “Grand Connections”

Cardiff M.A.D.E CIC – “The Made Link”

A series of networking events led by - and for - women of ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds from the LGBTQ+ community within the creative sector to increase participation and create communities to support those who feel isolated and underrepresented.

The closing date for proposals in 2023/24 is 13 July 2023.
