North East Wales Community Project Officer
Location: Remote working across North East Wales communities
Contract Type: Part-time, fixed term from 13 January 2025 to 31- August 2025 (3 or 4 days a week / also open to job-share)
Full time salary: £27,190 – £31,385

About the Role
The National Library of Wales (NLW) is looking for a North East Wales Community Project Officer to join our team and work with local communities on a new digital project.
In this part-time role, you'll use footage from our broadcast collection to share diverse stories with communities. The Wales Broadcast Archive is a large collection of TV and radio
programmes from Wales from the last 100 years.
Working with the Wales Broadcast Archive team, you’ll create a community project that will be shown at the 2025 National Eisteddfod in Wrexham.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with communities across North East Wales to explore the broadcast collection, uncover stories, and co-create a project that reflects community heritage and experiences.
• Work with the Community Activities Manager and other NLW staff to create and deliver a project that brings the broadcast collection’s content to life in an engaging, accessible, and inclusive way.
• Assist in planning and organising an event at the National Eisteddfod in August 2025.
