Groundswell focuses on the idea that “local practice leads to global change” and our programme of presentations, panel discussions, and workshops will explore radical, hyper-local and community-focused engagement practices.
The event is aimed at people at all stages of their career in visual arts engagement. We will explore successes and challenges of addressing systemic inequalities and global issues, such as climate change and of operating within and beyond government agendas and funding

Our bursaries are open to individuals or organisations from England, Scotland and Wales who want to attend in person – those interested should apply using the application form before 29 March 2024.
