National Theatre Wales is fuelled by the pursuit of connection. We see theatre as a tool to bring people together to reflect, explore and be inspired by the stories of our nation. We want everyone in Wales to see themselves, their communities, their experiences and their futures imagined in the work we make.

We are looking for a graphic designer to work on our next show, Feral Monster.

Who are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in graphic designers who:

  • have an understanding of LGBTQIA+* identities either through lived experience or allyship and may have previously faced barriers to a professional career in the creative sector for this reason
  • have a connection with and understanding of Wales and Welsh identities
  • have availability from mid November - mid December (see delivery timeline below)
  • have demonstrable experience creating most/all of the design assets outlined below.

We’re looking for someone who takes an inclusive approach to design, prioritising accessibility, bilingualism, anti-homophobia and anti-racism. You’ll be an excellent communicator and collaborator, and you’ll be able to create designs that resonate with a wide audience across Wales and across all generations.

*This acronym stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex or asexual, but people can also define their gender and sexuality in other ways. The creative team for Feral Monster all identify as LGBTQIA+ which is why we are looking for someone with this lived experience or allyship.
