ABOUT NTW

National Theatre Wales is a free-range theatre company that exists to find and tell the most powerful stories of Wales and its people. A mirror and a microscope for all of us.

We’re not tied to a building, which gives us the freedom to approach everything we do creatively, connecting people, places and ideas that spark stories into life.

We were founded in 2009 as Wales’ English language theatre company, and our job is to create a nationwide community of theatre makers and audiences, welcoming people from all walks of life. TEAM; our approach to working with communities, is key to this. It opens up creative opportunities for people who may never have thought of theatre as something for them.

Everything starts with a conversation here at NTW and we’re always looking to hear from anyone who wants to get involved.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Feral Monster - Touring Wales in spring 2024

Feral Monster is a banging new musical by Bethan Marlow, directed by Izzy Rabey, with music by Nicola T. Chang. It’s touring across Wales’ theatres in spring 2024 with insane vocals mashing up grime, R&B, pop and rap. Think Inside Out meets Skins meets Kae Tempest.

The show celebrates the story of unremarkable teen, Jax, as she/they/whatever navigates love, sexuality, family and the many parts of her loud, opinionated brain.
