Blessed William Davies Catholic Primary School, Llandudno are seeking a Creative Practitioner with digital media skills to work with Early Years pupils (age 4 – 6) in the development of expressive arts / animation / video which explores religious education themes within the curriculum.
Working with the concept of ‘Genesis’ as a catalyst for ideas, this is an open-ended enquiry with the opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our world – the humans, landscape and natural life within it. We are interested in creating ‘mini-worlds’ through the medium of expressive arts/ animation/ videography / film.
We’re looking for someone with great imagination and excellent technical skills to work in this inclusive and dynamic school, to work with the pupils to develop their creative digital skills and to create a high-quality short video of the process.
Fee: £300 per day
with an expectation of working 10 Wednesdays during the Autumn term
beginning Wednesday 18th September 2024.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check or provide evidence of an up-to-date DBS through the update service before the project can commence.
It is essential that the Creative Practitioner has received training from the Arts Council of Wales. Training is provided and will have to be carried out if the successful applicant does not already have this training.
