Youth Theatre Practitioner
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic individual to join the team in Port Talbot Youth Theatre, an arm of the youth arts charity, Afan Arts.
PTYT takes place in the locally iconic building at the heart of Port Talbot, THE PLAZA, every term time Thursday, 6PM – 8 PM. It is a youth theatre, provided at no cost to the young people of Neath Port Talbot, ages 11 -18
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, with experience and passion for theatre making and inspiring young people through drama.

- Have experience devising, resourcing and delivering high quality drama.
- Organised and self-motivated

Main Duties:
To plan and deliver weekly performance-based workshops for young people
Develop young people’s learning and development through creativity
Direct the annual production
The practitioner will be supported by the creative director and guest tutors
FEE: £80.00 per session
Position starts 4th September 2025 - 9th July 2026
