Part of the Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities project, this webinar invites funders to share insight into their priorities, types of project costs and application processes, with a focus on working with capital projects.
This webinar will provide an introduction for those who are starting to fundraise for their theatre building. Starting with a summary about how to get fit for funding, delivered by Theatres Trust’s Development Director Kate Bierman, the event will feature talks from Asha Karbhari (Director of Investment, Architectural Heritage Fund), David Hall (Chief Executive, The Foyle Foundation) and Kate Kendall (Senior Engagement Manager, National Lottery Heritage Fund).
Asha will introduce Architectural Heritage Fund’s funding options and demystify their loans process, and David will talk about The Foyle Foundation’s priorities, grant programmes for capital and revenue theatre projects, and what they look for in a successful application. Kate will offer an overview of the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s investment principles and introduce Heritage 2033, their new strategy.
The webinar will be hosted and chaired by Siân Eagar, Theatres at Risk Adviser and Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities Programme Manager.
