Role Title - Company Stage Manager
Contract Type - Freelance, fixed term
Hours - The Company Stage Manager will expect to work between 40 and 46 hours per week.
Work Location - Theatr Clwyd and up to four touring venues in Wales, with preparation work from
home.
Contract End - Either 22nd or 29th June 2024

Any overtime will be paid in line with UKT/Equity rates. • Fee - £671.62 per week • Expenses - £225 per week subsistence allowance to cover accommodation and subsistence. £290 per week touring allowance to cover travel & accommodation on tour. • Work location - Theatr Clwyd and up to four touring venues in Wales, with preparation work from home
Key responsibilites:
• Overseeing the welfare of the acting company, creative team and work placements, as well as the other Stage Managers and providing line management to the other stage management team.
• Recording, monitoring and collating the hours of cast and stage management.
• Liaising with the Director, Line Producer, creative and production teams to coordinate all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and show calls.
• Setting up rehearsal spaces, including the mark up and ensuring they meet appropriate health and safety standards. • Sourcing and making of props where necessary.
• Attending production meetings as necessary.
• Managing the Props and Stage Management budget including the management and returns of the Soldo Card through Exchequer (training on Mobile Exchequer will be available).
• Running backstage and onstage areas during rehearsals and performances. • Alerting the Line Producer and director of any company concerns which arise over the lifecycle of the production.
• Appearing on stage in costume as and when required.
• Assisting with get ins and get outs at tour venues. • Collating requests for complimentary tickets from the cast and creative team members, ensuring the Box Office team is kept up to date with requests.
• Any other requests within the realms of Stage Management duties.

Guest Night: Tue 14 May
Final show English: Sat 25 May
