Ballet Cymru is seeking a Finance Officer
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team working for an Arts Portfolio Wales organisation, Ballet Cymru. This new role will help develop the Company’s mission to be an inclusive, ground-breaking Welsh arts organisation.
The Finance Officer will be an integral part of the Ballet Cymru Team in managing the Charity’s finances. This will be a new role, and the person will be responsible for the day to day financial tasks, as well as assisting in the management, delivery and monitoring of the charity’s finances and the preparation of the annual accounts.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance/accountancy career, with opportunities for relevant training and development for the right person as the organisation grows.
Responsible to: Administrator, Artistic Directors
Location: Ballet Cymru, Newport (flexible working considered)
Hours: 22 hours per week
Salary: £28K - £30K p/a pro rata, depending on experience
Benefits: Company pension scheme; holidays, support with relevant training
Probation Period: 3 Months
Notice Period: 1 Month
