We are currently seeking a Head of Finance, Procurement & Risk.

What will be required of you?

As a key member of WNO, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the organization's strategy forward, providing financial analysis and guidance across all aspects of the business. You'll lead the Finance team, ensuring effective performance through recruitment, training, and target setting. Your responsibilities include business planning, budgeting, statutory compliance, risk management, and maintaining up-to-date financial systems. Additionally, you'll support corporate governance, policy review, and contribute to strategic development and operational improvements.

What you will need to have?

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a qualified CCAB Accountant with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential, along with experience in procurement, risk management, and software implementation. You should have a track record of producing timely accounts, business plans, and performance data, along with excellent budgeting and data analysis abilities. Effective communication, ICT literacy, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also crucial.

Annual Leave

Salary: £50,000

Colleagues are entitled to 25 days annual leave (pro-rata for part time hours) each full holiday leave year which runs from 1st September to 31 August.  Bank and public holidays are in addition to this.  After 5 years, your holiday will increase to 28 days.
