Join us for an energising two days in the beautiful town of Aberystwyth to be inspired, recharge, connect and learn.
The Creu Cymru Conference, sponsored by Ticketsolve, aims to bring together professionals working across the performing arts in Wales. The Conference will provide opportunities to hear about incredible initiatives, best practice and fantastic cultural events that have been happening in the sector. There will keynote speakers, panel sessions, workshops, a performance and opening night drinks reception.
The event will be open to Creu Cymru members (75 organisations and their staff and individual members) and anyone else working in the performing arts in Wales.
We start at 2pm on the 14th May and end 4pm on the 15th May.
Welsh to English translation will be available on the day.
Our keynote speakers for this year’s Conference are Derek Walker Future Generations Commissioner for Wales on the first day and Randel Bryan - Exec Director / Deputy CEO at Aviva Studios / Factory International who will join us on day two for our closing keynote.
Other speakers include Alex Wharton (poet, writer and Wales Children’s Laureate), Jen Smith Interim (CEO CIISA -Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority), Dr Tracy Breathnach (Wales Arts Heath and Wellbeing Network), Sian Gale (Skills and Development Manager, BECTU / Cult Cymru), Tilly Ashton (Sustainability Adviser Severn Screen), Dafydd Rhys (Chief Executive Arts Council of Wales), Maggie Russell (Chair Arts Council of Wales) and Jên Angharad (CEO Artis Community).
