Arts Council of Wales’s Create fund includes a business development and remodelling strand that’s designed for existing organisations to become more resilient and relevant by investing in training or by growing and changing aspects of a business. We know the importance of supporting the ‘back end’ of businesses in order to allow people to be truly creative.
You might want to improve your skills as a leader or manager, or you could have ideas on making your arts practice more sustainable. It may well be time to bring in expertise to help develop elements of your work such as audience development or marketing.
‘Create’ is a National Lottery Arts Funding Programme that is run by the Arts Council of Wales. The fund is all about looking at the Arts post-COVID, how we plan for a new future, and support projects that try to get to grips with what that future might hold. This means that we’re taking a fresh look at how we can achieve a strong and resilient arts sector that properly reflects Wales’s people and communities.
You can apply for this fund at any time, all we ask is that you allow at least six weeks between submitting your application and the start date of your project.
