Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Pontio Arts Centre have joined forces to offer Backstage Internships that will provide access to careers in the performing arts through the medium of Welsh, as well as a unique opportunity to train while working. We have successfully obtained funding for the internships from ARFOR Challenge Fund, funded by the Welsh Government.

*Please note that this is a Welsh-language opportunity. Welsh is essential for this role*

A Backstage Intership is the perfect way to gain access into the industry and to get a real idea of how the sector works, as there will be an opportunity to work with many organisations within the performing arts.

The role will offer opportunities to gain invaluable experience of the backstage world - whether stage management, or more technical roles like sound, lighting and AV - and will also be a chance to network with a wide range of people across the sector. The skills you'll learn can be put to use across the performing arts, including:

● Theatre

● Opera

● Dance

● Music

● Circus

● Live events

...and so much more.
