As well as masses of great music, a lot of it free to see in the local pub venues, Boia Festival, St.Davids, has a festival Arts Trail at the Seion Chapel and vestry, New Street. The exhibitions are free to the public.
This year’s Artist in Residence Ben Llwyd’s short experimental film. Western England 2033, is in the chapel vestry building.
In the chapel itself is Molly McLeod’s Silent Seas art installation, illustrator Harri Hampson’s short animation and poem, Upon a Clifftop, and LPOL’s installation, “What is the right question?”.
These are open 12-6pm on Fri 24th, 10am-6pm on Sat and Sun 25/26 October. Further towards the City Hall at Studio 6, New St, there is Tony Kitchell’s Paintings of Boia Acts, the bands from previous years festivals painted as they performed live! Open Sat 25/Sun26th 9.30 am to 6pm.
