Over 1,200 learners from 18 schools were able to see the play which toured to several venues around Wales. For many, it was the first piece of live theatre they had seen since the covid-19 pandemic and their first time seeing a Welsh language performance. Being immersed in the Welsh language was particularly highlighted by schools where Welsh was a second language. Teachers noticed that learners were talking about some of the scenes on the way out of the theatre in Welsh and using words they heard during the performance.

The experience was heightened through the support materials provided by Arad Goch so that pupils were able to get the most out of the experience and link the performance to their curriculum work back in the classroom. In particular, the performance was the perfect introduction for learning about the home of this year's National Eisteddfod, Tregaron.
