Arts, Health and Wellbeing organisation, People Speak Up, along with Pembrokeshire artists Lisa Evans and Stirling Steward will be hosting free weekly Make & Move sessions from the end of April until July to encourage young people to create and get active.

The free Make & Move are aimed at ages 8-13 year olds and will be held every Wednesday after school from 30 April until 9 July from 5pm – 6.30pm at the Canolfan Hermon Community Resource Centre, Hermon, Glogue, Pembrokeshire.

Supported by BBC Children in Need, Make & Move is aimed at encouraging young people to express themselves creatively, and get moving in a fun, inclusive, and safe environment.

The weekly after-school workshops are designed to support emotional wellbeing through movement, dance, crafts, and arts, which will be led by dance artist Stirling Steward and visual artist Lisa Evans. The sessions are aimed at being playful and creative and are completely free and open to all.

We are so pleased to have funding from BBC Children in Need to help deliver this free activity in our community. We know first-hand how moving, and creativity can help all ages and improve mental health and wellbeing. We want as many young people as possible to come after school and take part. No experience is needed. We will create a safe, fun and welcoming space for all.” Make & Move Artist - Lisa Evans
