About Welsh Ballroom Community:
The Welsh Ballroom Community is dedicated to enriching the lives of QPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals through the art of ballroom. As we spearhead the next phase of our Creative Steps program, we seek a strategic and proactive Executive Producer to oversee our financial management, fundraising, and program development, ensuring our community's empowerment and financial resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of WBC, including the creation of budgets and cash flows as per funding requirements.
- Lead fundraising efforts and manage program development in alignment with the Creative Steps objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Artistic Director to integrate financial health with creative vision.
- Oversee compliance and risk management for project activities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in financial management, including expertise in handling budgets and cash flows.
- Extensive experience in production within the arts or similar fields, demonstrating a track record of successful project management and implementation.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Contract Details:
- This is a fixed-term contract with a total fee of £15,000. (equivalent to £30k 0.5 for 12 months)
- Flexible working arrangements are available, with the possibility of remote work.
