Delivered through Wales Arts International, the international agency of Arts Council of Wales, Wales in Edinburgh offers a chance for companies and creative professionals to develop new markets and find ways of enhancing their touring patterns outside of Wales.
Wales in Edinburgh is a curated showcase that promotes the best in Welsh theatre, dance and circus. The programme’s vision is to use the Edinburgh Festival Fringe not as a destination but a platform for our arts organisations and creative professionals to realise their international ambitions.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival and it is attended by audiences, programmers, promoters and producers from across the UK and the World.
The total amount available for Wales in Edinburgh 2024 is £80,000. We would expect to fund between 4-5 strong proposals from acts that are showcase-ready.
