They will be responsible for the fit up and installation of all hired and venue video and captioning equipment. The video plans will be produced by the Video Designers and touring paperwork will be compiled by the Video Engineer.
Once on tour the Video Engineer will install all video equipment and ensure the video content is replicated line with the original design of the piece. The Video Engineer is also responsible for commissioning the Creative Captioning set up and handing over to the Caption Operator for the run in each venue.
Under Milk Wood is using Lighting, Video and Creative Captioning and so the Video Engineer will need to work in collaboration with the Relighter to ensure the aesthetic of all designs are sympathetically balance.
The Video Engineer will hand over to the Touring Technical Manager for the run in each venue.
The Video Engineer will abide by all Theatr Clwyd policies and procedures and will be line managed by Hannah Lobb (Theatr Clwyd Head of Production).
