The Parents and Carers in the Performing Arts in Wales Toolkit is a free resource shaped by the invaluable input of the members of Building Foundations in Wales PiPA project.
Building Foundations in Wales is a collaboration of Creu Cymru and PiPA, funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
Over the course of five sessions, this project brought together a cohort of Welsh performing arts organisations and freelancers to discuss the challenges parents and carers in the sector face, share existing supportive practices, and identify tools to make workplaces more inclusive and accessible for those with caring commitments. This toolkit was developed as part of the project to enable organisations and individuals to take learning forward and embed some of the supportive practices discussed.
