From 24 July to 1 September, Chapter is sharing a full programme of free art packs, films and packed lunches for children, keeping Cardiff creative over the summer.

In an effort to support local families during the summer break, Chapter is thrilled to announce an expansion of their school holiday programme: six weeks of free packed lunches for all children under 18, three free family films a week, and free art packs for all.

This programme will run from Monday to Friday, starting 24 July and finishing 1 September. This free offer has been extended to ensure that children have access to delicious lunches during the summer, and can enjoy art and films on their doorstep.

Hannah Firth, Co-Director and Artistic Director said, “During these difficult times, we think it’s vital to support our local community. We started this programme last year and are thrilled to be able to offer activities and lunches throughout the summer. As the cost-of living crisis deepens, we want to ensure that all children and young people can have access to free food, art and film in our venue so that they always feel safe and welcome.”

Alongside the free programme of activities, there are a number of paid-for events that have been programmed with little audiences in mind, making Chapter an ideal day out throughout the summer holidays.
