Awen Cultural Trust is seeking to recruit an Outdoor Arts Project Manager on a short-term freelance contract to support us with the delivery of a variety of outdoor arts performances and events across Bridgend county borough.

Fee: £2,500 for up to 12 days work between May-December (flexible)

Reporting to our Creative Wellbeing Manager, you will liaise with artists, council licensing departments, Awen's marketing team, staff and volunteers. You will support work within town centres, villages and parks as directed.

Projects will cross all art forms and range from intimate, participatory performances to large scale events. Events are often free and can attract small to large diverse audiences, representative of the local demographic. You will be responsible for some pre-event project management as well as leading or assisting with real time delivery on the ground.

Excellent project management skills and experience of delivering outdoor arts events are essential. We encourage applications from those who identify as d/Deaf, disabled, neurodiverse, are queer/trans or part of the global majority.

Please apply by email/cover letter, or a short video outlining your experience if preferred. Please notify us if you have any access or support needs.

Please send your application to Nicola Edwards, Creative Wellbeing Manager, nicola.edwards@awen-wales.com, by 20th April 2024.

Funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council.
