Volcano's 2025 The Shape of Things to Come season opens next week with The Alcoholic's Tarot by leon clowes

With a special deck and a balanced hand of humour and emotional honesty, leon invites you into his parlour to witness personal stories of chaos, revelation and regret, asking where we draw the line between the normalization of alcohol abuse in society and the shaming effect on those who are addicted.

Performances Thursday 8 - Sat 10 May, at Volcano's HQ in Swansea High Street.

The Shape of Things to Come is an annual programme of new, short, solo performances by independent actors and theatre-makers. All of this year's five shows will take place in The Room, a new set designed and built by Swansea artist Bourdon Brindille.

The Shape of Things to Come runs from 8 April to 14 June. Following leon will be work by Arnold Matsena, Ryan Samuel Davies, Moana Doll and Joanna Simpkins.
