Storytellers from Wales - including Euros Lewis - and from Israel, USA, the Netherlands, Iran are gathering together at the Caonolfan Waunifor Centre (home of the annual End-of-Summer Art Exhibition) to share their experiences and to tell and perform stories from many cultures and traditions.
The workshops is facilitated by experienced storytellers and topics include the art of storytelling, how to turn observation and personal experience into stories that move an audience, tales that evoke the natural worlds, how to craft one's own life story and ways to develop one's imagination.
The performances will feature a variety of storytelling styles, including traditional and epic tales and stories from the past, present and future. There will also be open mic sessions and music performances.
The event is suitable for all ages and the cost of a full-day ticket (including the evening performance) is £25 An individual workshop or evening performance is £10 each and a three-day weekend ticket is £60.
