Design, management and delivery of public event/s to launch
New Fishguard and Goodwick Trails, Pembrokeshire Autumn 2024
Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) seeks quotes for the design, management and delivery of outdoor public event/s for Fishguard and Goodwick, Pembrokeshire to mark the launch of new trails that have been commissioned. The event/s should take place late Summer -Autumn 2024. The project is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Small World Theatre has been commissioned to create the trail. The event/s should be designed to launch the trail and will require significant overlap with Small World Theatre to co-ordinate activity and align dates. The event/s should be large scale, intergenerational and inclusive of all people in the community, fun, engaging and celebratory. This could take the form of a parade or procession through the town centres, or another form to be proposed by the supplier.
The event/s are expected to attract 1500+ people.
The event/s is expected to:
- Celebrate and mark the completion of the trails commission
- Celebrate and acknowledge Fishguard and Goodwick’s rich heritage and culture
- Increase pride in place among communities and visitors to Fishguard and Goodwick
- Increase footfall in the town centres
- Increase visitor numbers to the town centres
- Develop and enhance the reputation of Fishguard and Goodwick as an arts and culture destination in the county.
- Improve people’s perception of events taking place in the town centres
Quotes are invited in the region of £22,000 - £24,999. Quotes £25,000 and over will be rejected.
