Pupils at Radyr Primary School are looking to employ an enthusiastic and committed creative artist to deliver 10 sessions to a year 5 class of 30 pupils as part of the Lead School Creative programme. The focus will be on numeracy and will look to build the pupils vocabulary and language to help them explain and discuss the work they do in class.

The students would be keen to work with a comedian, actor, playwright, or storyteller and explore how numeracy, comedy and storytelling can combine to build more confidence in using mathematical language.

The school is hoping to build the children's confidence and independence through a collaborative approach with the aim of raising attainment levels in numeracy.
