We’re pleased to share that schools now have an additional fortnight to submit their applications for our new programmes, Experiment and Extend: Creative Leadership Programme. The new deadline is now 12pm on 31 October 2025.
Experiment
The Experiment programme is a special opportunity for primary, secondary, and specialist teaching schools to receive a £2,000 grant and 10 days of support from a Creative Learning Partner to develop literacy, wellbeing, and creativity across the curriculum.
You’ll co-design and co-deliver authentic learning experiences alongside your Creative Learning Partner, considering which aspects of your school improvement plan you wish to address. For more details about the programme and how to apply, visit our funding page: Experiment
Extend: Creative Leadership Programme
The Creative Leadership Programme, delivered in partnership between the Arts Council of Wales and Welsh Government, is a funded opportunity to support school leaders in Wales who are keen to explore innovative approaches to leadership and creative learning.
If you’re a middle or senior leader — or aspiring to be — and eager to bring the Curriculum for Wales to life in engaging and authentic ways, this programme offers a unique opportunity to do so. For more details on how to take part, visit our funding page: Extend

We recommend that you register at least 5 working days before you wish to start your application. Once you have received your login details, you can use these to access all Creative Learning Cymru application forms and will not need to re-register when you want to apply again.
