Boia Festival, St Davids, is a yearly music festival showcasing great music from Wales , Ireland, England and further afield.
We are looking for contemporary artists in West Wales, particularly Pembokeshire, to exhibit work at the Sion Chapel, New Street, St Davids as part of the Boia Festival Arts Strand on the 24/25/26 October 2025. We received over 900 visitors over two exhibitions at the festival weekend last year.
The themes of the Arts Strand this year are community, environment, climate change, Welsh culture and responding to 19th century chapels as spaces for playful interpretations of museum and heritage culture.
Please note we wish to show case existing work to a festival audience.
Ideally we would host work from two or three artists in the chapel.
Art forms we are interested in include sculpture, installation art, work using light, projection, work using sound, and large scale two dimensional works which can respond to the scale of a chapel interior.

The deadline for completed applications is 5th September 2025. Artists will receive a fee and help with transport if necessary.
