The programme enables emerging and established artists and producers, who have not yet taken work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but are looking to do so. The programme will run alongside Arts Council of Wales’ curated showcase initiative, Wales in Edinburgh.

Commenting today, Maggie Dunning, Wales in Edinburgh Project Manager said:

“This is an exciting new development that looks to create pathways for artists and creative companies in Wales. If you have a good product, which isn’t yet ready to be taken to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, you can take advantage of this new programme to test ideas, build new relationships and see high quality work.

“We care about the individual voice and personal expression of Wales, keeping diversity, equalities and fairness at the heart of what we do, we remain committed to excellence and to supporting bold, innovative and provocative art.

“To maximise impact and value for the Seeding for the Future programme, we will be working with our in-house international agency, Wales Arts International and our partners Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society.”
