We want to make Arts Marketing Association (AMA) membership and training opportunities more accessible for a wider range of individuals and organisations in Wales. As of this month, individuals can apply online for an Arts Council of Wales funded membership bursary or training programme for leaders of small-scale arts organisations.

Membership bursary

We are providing four membership bursaries which cover 100% of the membership cost.

To be considered for a bursary you must work in the cultural sector, be based in Wales, or work for an organisation based in Wales, and meet at least one of the criteria outlined. Read the full details for an Arts Council of Wales Membership Bursary here.

It's useful to note that bursaries won’t be awarded to more than one person from the same organisation, and bursaries are only available to those who have not previously been AMA members. The deadline to apply is 31 July 2020 at 5pm.

Small-Scale Development Programme bursary

We're providing two bursaries for the Small-Scale Development Programme (running between 13 -31 July 2020). These are available to arts professionals working in Wales.

This bursary will cover 100% of your delegate cost and you will not have to contribute the usual £95 + VAT delegate fee for this programme.

This programme is now delivered online and consists of 18 hours of face-to-face training and support over three weeks. The programme is for leaders of arts, culture and heritage organisations with ten or fewer staff and is designed to help address the pressing issues currently facing leaders of small organisations.

Read the full criteria here, and don't forget to complete the application form by 3 July 2020.
