Do I need to upload a CV?
You can if you have a recent one, but it’s not a requirement.
How do I know if my form has submitted?
You should have received an instant pop-up notification confirming the submission which will be followed up by an email that will be sent to the email address you provided in Section 1: Your Details. If this email address has been typed incorrectly then you would not get the confirmation email, but you should still have had the Submission message pop up notification at the time you submitted. If you did not get either of these, then your form has not been submitted.
Why won’t my Expression of interest form submit?
- Have you completed all required fields? You can click back through the form to check.
- Check that telephone numbers, addresses and emails have been typed in correctly. They are formatted to recognise UK telephone number formats and addresses
- Check the file/s you have uploaded have not exceeded 25MB. To check this, go to the file location> Right click > Select ‘properties’ >select the ‘details’ tab and scroll down for file sizes. For information, 1000 KB = 1 MB and most documents such as CVs and written statements should be around 100 KB.
- If your file is in Gigabytes (GB) then it will be too big to upload and needs to be reduced to a smaller file.
- Try removing images from documents before uploading as high-resolution images can make the files too big to upload
- Try copying and pasting the text into a new Word document.
How do I save my form and resume later?
There is a Save/Resume function at the bottom of each page of the form. When you click this, you will be given the option to have a resume link, which you will need to keep somewhere safe. We would recommend however, that you select the option to have the resume link sent to you via email. Please ensure you type in the correct email address and check it has arrived in your inbox and works, before closing the form.
Why does the resume form link not work?
When you start the form, you have 30 days to complete it. Each time you save the form the 30-day timer will reset from that point. If you do not access the resume link within 30 days, the form will be lost and cannot be retrieved.
I accidentally closed the form before I saved it. What do I do?
Go to your browser and click on the line of 3 dots in the top right corner. Select ‘history’ and your form should be there however, this will depend on your browser settings. If you check and it is not there, then unfortunately you will have to start a new form.
Can you give an idea on the time commitment that would be expected across the 12 months?
We are looking for wide range of individuals with skills, expertise and lived experience across a range of areas, who may assist us with a number of projects and areas of activity over the course of the next 12 months. These opportunities will arise and be offered on an ad hoc basis. The key criteria for each opportunity will be identified, as when the opportunities arise, and there will be an initial cross refencing of these with Expressions of Interest that have been accepted into the pool.
Whilst we have identified some opportunities for engagement with the pool, these will be subject to matching the criteria for these with the submissions received. At this stage there may be further shortlisting activity with the potential candidates identified. Potential candidates would be notified of this and provided details of the work for which engagement is being sought, including dates and timeframes. This will also allow the potential candidates to check and confirm their availability for the opportunity in question. We will ensure through this process that the work is distributed as fairly as possible, particularly where the process has identified a number of candidates may be considered suitable matches for an opportunity.
Therefore, unfortunately we are not able to provide any undertaking on any or how much work an individual may secure through this process.
