As part of Welsh Government's Wales in Germany Year 2021, a whole host of partners have come together to celebrate and showcase literature, theatre and music at a special trilingual event. 
 

What to expect

A staged read-through from German actor Soheil Emanuel Boroumand of award-winning Welsh playwright Gary Owen's 'Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco', directed by German Dramaturg Jens Peters

Ifor Ap Glyn (National Poet of Wales) and Mererid Hopwood (award-winning poet and Hay International Fellow 2021) will read from their poems in Welsh and English, followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

Bilingual soul-folk jazz musician Kizzy Crawford will be performing throughout the evening.

A revisit of the 'Aber Bach' trilingual literature and dance Plethu/Weave film. Featuring Mererid Hopwood and dancer Elena Sgarbi and produced by Literature Wales and National Dance Company Wales.
