PYST is delighted to announce UNTRO, a system that will support new Welsh artists release their first single and create promotional opportunities for those singles.
Forming a partnership between PYST, Creative Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, Lŵp/S4C and Klust, UNTRO is launched to represent, coordinate and promote tracks from new artists from Wales, providing them with the skills needed to learn about the process of releasing and promoting songs digitally. These first steps are key for any artist, and by combining the resources and expertise that all five partners provide, the aim is to equip artists to move forward on their journey while also helping Welsh labels work with the artists on future campaigns. The system aims to create a more inclusive and accessible musical landscape in Wales.
