Arts Council of Wales is keen to support new or existing creative networks that inform, enrich and broaden the arts sector here in Wales. We're open to all kinds of ideas.

From 1 July 2025, the Sharing Together fund is open to applications. We want all voices to be heard—and to matter. It's important that the conversations sparked by #BlackLivesMatter and #WeShallNotBeRemoved continue and we're especially interested in hearing from networks rooted in Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent, and Ethnically and Culturally Diverse communities.

Our aim is to help the sector grow from within, supporting grassroots-led initiatives that connect people, share knowledge, and challenge the status quo—especially for those who feel disconnected with the arts for any number of reasons.

Whether you're starting an online community, launching an artist-led group, or expanding an existing network, the Sharing Together Fund may be able to help.

Funding is now available for:

  • Start-up and set-up costs
  • Community and networking events
  • Innovative models with lasting impact

We know that networks come in all shapes and sizes. Some are more formal than others; some large, others small. Networks may choose to meet on a regular basis, others as and when the members feel it necessary. What is important, is that they bring together people and organisations with shared needs and interests.

This is part of our commitment to a more inclusive, representative, and connected arts sector in Wales—one where every voice counts.

Applications open 1 July 2025 and close at 12pm on Wednesday 3 September 2025.
