Swansea Arts Weekend is a vibrant two-day celebration of music, visual arts, and performance, taking place in the heart of Swansea City Centre. Held on October 11th – 12th, the event will feature a dynamic mix of adult and family-friendly programming, including exhibitions, performances, interactive experiences, workshops, and creative activities across galleries, event spaces, and entertainment venues.
We are inviting performers to showcase their work as part of this exciting weekend. Whether you have an existing piece or a new idea you'd like to bring to life, we want to hear from you. We are especially keen to highlight the rich and diverse cultural landscape of Swansea and the surrounding areas, but we also welcome applications from across Wales and the UK.
We’re looking for artists working in the following areas:
- Theatre performances
- Outdoor arts, including circus and walkabout acts
- Dance performances and interventions
- Storytelling, poetry, and spoken word
- Visual Art
- Live Art
- Creative Workshops
This is a paid opportunity, with fees ranging from £250 to £10,000, depending on the scale and nature of the work.
