Help! Milford Haven School is desperately seeking an experienced, dynamic and resilient Creative Practitioner(s) to help breathe life into our forthcoming Creative Schools Project.
The successful applicant will support us in shaping and delivering a project to help us guide a group of Year 8 female learners on a journey to explore sports journalism. Our enquiry question:
How can we inspire and raise girls' wellbeing and attainment persistently and collaboratively in literacy via sports journalism?
Using a range of media (digital/print/performance), the project aims to bring to life female sporting role models and their achievements in the industry. In doing so, you’ll be helping the young people involved develop a sense of cynefin for their gender; inspire their inquisitiveness, imagination and persistence; and turbo-charge their literacy skills ready for their all important GCSE years.
Are you a confident and ambitious individual with a passion for sports and storytelling? We are looking for a dynamic creative practitioner who is not afraid to speak up and has a keen interest in sports and literacy looking to work with 20 year 8 girls (12-13 years old) at Milford Haven School. If you aim high, are self-confident, and determined to make an impact, we want to hear from you. We want a proud ambassador for sports and literacy, bringing both worlds together through your writing. Someone who is creative and inquisitive, always seeking fresh angles and stories that engage our readers. A driven professional with a passion for sports, whether you're already sports-oriented or simply have a strong interest. We are determined to push boundaries, and offer innovative ideas to improve and elevate our content. Show us how you aim high and why you're the perfect fit for our team! Apply now and let your creativity shine.
We’re looking for a person (or people) to help us tiller this ship! You will be loud, energetic, and most importantly: fun!! Perhaps you are a writer or work in media, who can engage the students in creative ways and help them to express themselves orally; a person who can bring ambition to life and get the students excited about their sporting community. You will be confident and an expert in various artistic mediums as well as digital technology. You must be able to not only guide the most enthused but inspire those who lack confidence.
