Introducing Sinema Llangoed

Thanks to generous support from Film Hub Wales, funded by the British Film Institute (BFI) Film Audience Network (FAN) and The National Lottery, Llangoed Village Hall has transformed into a state-of-the-art cinema venue. The hall now boasts a 4K laser Epson projector, a new stereo sound system, and a large-format cinema screen, providing a truly cinematic experience for the community. This allows the hall to screen films from the BFI Library, Welsh-language releases, the best of independent British cinema, international classics and host premieres of local documentaries and film projects. Local community groups are also invited to use the space for galas and special events.

Screenings

Sinema Llangoed was launched with a sell-out screening of The Nettle Dress, followed by Hedd Wyn, Conclave, Bread & Roses and Brian and Charles. The next films include Cinema Paradiso, Citizen Kane and Fire of Love.

National Theatre Live at Llangoed Village Hall

We're thrilled to announce our first ever National Theatre Live screening at Llangoed Village Hall - a landmark cultural moment for our community and the grand launch of our premier event series! This acclaimed initiative broadcasts live performances from the National Theatre and other UK stages to cinemas worldwide.

Join us for a celebratory launch party as we bring world-class theatre to Llangoed for the very first time via NTLive.com. On the September 28th 2025 we will screen Inter Alia, a new play by Suzie Miller, bringing world-class theatre to the heart of Anglesey.
