The Arts Council of Wales has released a short update on its Investment Review process, following a recent meeting of the organisation’s Council.
Commenting today, Dafydd Rhys, Arts Council of Wales Chief Executive said:
“At its recent meeting, Council members were very encouraged that the consultation on the Investment Review process had attracted a record number of responses and that those responses were broadly supportive of our proposed direction with this review.
“We are most grateful to all those who contributed to that three-month consultation and attended the many consultation events during that same period.
“The next step will be the publication of guidance documents for the Investment Review 2023 on 12th December. This will give the arts sector in Wales several weeks to digest the content of that document before the three-month application window opens in January 2023. There will also be opportunities to speak to an officer about the Investment Review from 12th December.”
Applications for the investment review will open on 9th January and close on 31st March 2023.
Arts Council of Wales’ work and communications across all other areas of work remain unchanged (unless impacted by workload demand during the assessment period, April – June 2023).
