Graduate Residency Award
We are delighted to announce an open call for graduating artists to apply for our Graduate Residency Award. We will be selecting two artists graduating from a BA, MA or equivalent course from an institution in the U.K. for a funded 2 week residency between January - April 2026. (Travel, materials and food costs will be the responsibility of the award winners.)
The Mawddach Residency offers space for thought, reflection and creation - an opportunity to completely immerse yourself in your practice and leave with a renewed passion for your work.
Artists, writers and musicians are invited to spend two weeks away from distractions along the banks of the Mawddach Estuary, in the beautiful surroundings of the Eryri National Park.
The dates of the residency will be decided to work around the availability of the two selected artists.
The selected artists will share a studio but there is no expectation that they need collaborate with each other, however we will accept applications from pairs of artists who work collaboratively.
Please include the following as your application:
1. A link to your online show / photos of your graduate exhibition
2. Your artist statement (if not present on your online graduate show)
3. A rough indication of your availability between January - April 2026
