Eleni is looking for three consultants, or one consultancy, to provide the following Transition project support from June 2024 until March 2025:

Freelance Business Planning Consultant: £10,500

Freelance Funding Consultant: £9,000

Freelance Communications Consultant: £3,500

Eleni is a not-for-profit organisation driven by a team of passionate dance and arts professionals. Our unwavering commitment is to provide meaningful dance experiences to communities across North East Wales.

We have successfully secured Transition funding from the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) to work with business planning, funding and communication specialists to help us diversify our working methods to become a more viable and resilient organisation.

Having been a revenue client of ACW for many years, we were informed in the autumn of 2023 that we were unsuccessful with our core funding application and would no longer be a portfolio client from April 1, 2024.

Having reviewed our options, we are now positioned to plan for the future and ensure we can continue enriching people’s lives through dance.

The first step on our transition journey will be to contract  specialists in charity business planning, fundraising and communications to help us develop a new way of working without losing sight of our core values:

  • re-imagining lives through dance
  • enhancing well-being for individuals through creative dance and movement
  • nurturing diverse communities, cultures and society through dance
  • creating a vibrant dance sector for the future

What are we looking for?

  1. Freelance Business Planning Consultant

Working alongside the Trustees and Project Coordinator, we are looking for someone to guide us through creating a new business plan so that Eleni can continue to provide dance opportunities for people across North East Wales.

  • To look at the staffing structure of Eleni and ensure it’s fit for purpose.
  • To help us nurture relationships with our partners, develop new partnerships, and reconnect with those we’ve lost.
  • To deliver a strategy consultation day in July 2024 for all trustees, employees, dance practitioners and key stakeholders.
  •
  1. Funding Consultant

Working alongside the Trustees and Project Coordinator, we are looking for someone who can guide us through developing a new funding strategy that will, in part, consider creating an offer that generates income so that we can continue to invest in providing opportunities for people across North East Wales.

We will also investigate the need for these products, who else is delivering in the area, and who we might be able to work in partnership with.
  • To attract local sponsors.

  1. Communications Consultant

Working alongside the Trustees and Project Coordinator, we seek someone to help us create a communications and marketing plan to inform North East Wales communities of our dance opportunities.

We are looking for someone to work with us:

  • To write a communications plan.
  •  To review the content of our website.
  • To utilise all our social media accounts.
