Fio are a theatre and arts company that exists to create positive change within the sector in Wales.
Check out the Creative/Producer Lab project: a programme run by Fio. The Creative/Producer Lab project was established to offer Global Majority and underrepresented creatives in Wales time, space and money to develop an idea.

This is what Carmen Almeida had to say about their experience:
“It is very difficult to get your foot in the door as an underrepresented artist. Residencies like this gives us the chance to produce professional work that really represents us; our talent, our vision and our stories.”
Participants were given the chance to collaborate with other creatives, and develop their artistic/producing skills which resulted in individually pieces of work that can be shared digitally. All participants within the programme were mentored by Fio’s Artistic Director, Dr. Sita Thomas.
