Job Summary

Based at the National Museum Cardiff, the Event Producer will play a key role in delivering a dynamic and engaging Public Events Programme. This role involves overseeing both established events, such as the Sleepover and Silent Disco, and developing new partnerships and initiatives aimed at broadening the museum’s audience reach. The Event Producer will work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that target and engage family audiences, ensuring events are well-publicised, well-attended, and creatively executed.

Impactful, inclusive and high-quality public events which are designed and delivered in collaboration with community partners and international organisations.

Creative events that reach and empower culturally and ethnically diverse communities, D/deaf and disabled people, people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage and LGBTQ+ community.

Help us develop and maintain long-term collaborations with a network of partners and organisations across Wales.

Successful events which provide added value for Amgueddfa Cymru Retail, Catering and Development teams.

Promote the events programme and advocate externally.

Effective collation of data and continuous monitoring of the events programme to inform future programmes
