The Arts Council of Wales Chair, Phil George was taken ill on Tuesday 13th September, and is currently receiving treatment at the University Hospital in Cardiff. Early reports indicate he is responding well to treatment. The responsibility for Chairing the Council will be assumed by the Deputy Chair, Kate Eden.
Phil’s family have asked for privacy so that they can concentrate on caring for him and ensuring his speedy recovery,
