"I'm thrilled to take on this new challenge as Director of Arts for the Arts Council of Wales. Wales’s creative spirit is abundant, and I'm eager to harness the power of our rich cultural heritage while pushing boundaries and embracing new voices. From my experiences in film production and championing diversity in the creative industries, I've seen first-hand the transformative impact of the arts. Now it's time to reimagine what the arts can do for Wales. Let's weave together our cultural threads and make arts accessible to all, and enhance wellbeing across our communities, while also showcasing Welsh talent on a global stage.
