Since it opened in 2004 it has welcomed 1.5 million visitors each year, who attend a variety of events - from West End shows, to Opera and community arts events. It is also a 'cultural campus' and home to a number of arts companies such as Welsh National Opera, National Dance Company Wales and Literature Wales. The players of the National Lottery have made a significant contribution to the building's original development and to its on-going activities.
