Night Out brings a wealth of arts and entertainment to tiny villages and church halls. These venues might be at the heart of rural Wales, in welfare institutes in the post-industrial valleys or in multi-cultural inner-city community venues.

We’re lucky to be able to help give a stage to home-grown talent as well as an array of performers from across the globe. Here’s what people have to say about the scheme.

“We love having the Night Out scheme as it allows us to offer high quality theatre performances to our community who struggle to take their families to the cinema or theatre otherwise, due to financial restraints. We are able to programme a range of shows through the scheme and entice people to come and watch something that they would not necessarily choose to see, and broaden their horizons.”

Valleys Kids

"The Night Out Scheme allowed this to happen. Without it, we would not have taken the risk of promoting a show. In the event it brought people together and introduced a new audience to our village hall."

Llanvetherine Village Society

“The audience was mesmerised by the performance of Fahmida Nabi.”

Bangadesh Women’s Association

“… how good it was to see the community hall being enjoyed by so many and of all ages. It never ceases to amaze me, the endless pool of great performers out there.”
